The hotel founders’ vision was to combine design and functionality and create a distinctive hotel experience that is affordable for everyone. The result is an unmistakable design with solid surface materials in vibrant colours.
Design
Through the use of different colour schemes and geometries, the internationally successful designer gives each prizeotel its own colourful character. In Karim's designs, unusual shapes and garish colours do not stop at the hotel bathrooms and breakfast area. Bright yellow washstand or ice-blue table tops with pink decorative stripes are not uncommon.
Implementation
Hasenkopf processes the acrylic-bonded solid surface materials Corian® and Himacs® for a wide range of applications on behalf of the general contractor Plan-Team-Lohoff. The material makes the most of its product advantages: In addition to the extensive selection of around 100 colours, solid surface materials score points with a hard-wearing, non-porous surface, making them the ideal choice for areas with high visitor frequency. Even after years of use, the homogeneously coloured material can be reconditioned as good as new simply by sanding it.
