Entrée Depesche

Anyone who crosses the threshold at the headquarters of the Schleswig-Holstein-based company Depesche Vertrieb GmbH & Co. KG can experience a special moment: A wall of vibrant green stretches out on either side, pierced by solid wooden beams and discreetly framed by white solid surface material.
Overcoming the boundaries between indoor and outdoor areas in order to utilize the effect of nature for indoor spaces as well: This has been the idea of the architecture firm Ziebell + Partner for many years. For the Entrée Depesche project in 2020, they therefore designed vertical greenery that is not only an eye-catcher for visitors, but also creates a pleasant indoor climate.
Design
Several technical challenges have to be overcome to achieve the visual effect of a vertical plant cover: The construction must provide stable support, be able to accommodate the complex drip irrigation system, be water-resistant while also providing an elegant frame.
Implementation
By choosing Corian® Glacier White, all these requirements were met. Precisely manufactured by us and glued seamlessly and waterproof on site by the Ropers joinery, the premium material supports the core idea of the green wall thanks to its low proportion of volatile hydrocarbons as an environmentally friendly material.
