Solid wood

 

The appearance and tactile quality of solid wood are unparalleled. Solid wood is made from a single piece of timber and contains no bonded layers or added materials. Particle board

 

Particle boards are manufactured from wood chips or sawdust that are compressed with a binding agent. They are lightweight, cost-efficient, and are often finished with a veneer layer to achieve a more refined appearance. Particle boards are ideal for flat furniture components and shelving.

Medium-density fiberboard (MDF)

 

MDF is made from fine wood fibres that are compressed and bonded with resin. It offers a very smooth surface, making it ideal for lacquered finishes. MDF is commonly used for furniture fronts, mouldings, and other interior applications.

Plywood (Multiplex)

 

Plywood panels consist of multiple veneer layers bonded crosswise, providing high stability and bending strength. Their characteristic layered edges give them a distinctive appearance, which is why they are often used for visible furniture components or worktops.
