Design

For the implementation of the design by Herzog, Kassel + Partner, a space was created that works with bright colors, soft shapes and translucent lighting effects. The curved reception counter looks like a floating element thanks to its 3D-formed Corian® cladding in Glacier White. The high precision and surface quality of the polished material emphasize the elegance of the room, while the interplay of white and sky blue conveys lightness and freshness. The design consistently follows the idea of a harmonious spatial experience - an interplay of architecture, light and material.

Implementation

After a successful test phase for the prototypes, the rollout took place at 82 train stations throughout Germany. Hasenkopf proved its ability to produce and deliver the Corian® furniture"on demand". The main task was the thermal forming of all Corian® elements, which were prepared with millimeter precision for assembly on the steel substructure. This project demonstrates Hasenkopf's strength in combining innovative architecture and series production to the highest quality standards.
