What is a countertop basin?

 

A countertop basin is a washbasin that is visibly mounted on a console or vanity. It places design at the center and offers maximum creative freedom - from round and oval shapes to clean, rectangular designs. Countertop basins are particularly popular in high-end interiors due to their sculptural effect and ease of installation. They can be integrated into both single and double vanity systems.

How do I properly clean countertop basins?

For daily cleaning, a soft, damp cloth and a mild cream cleanser are sufficient—however, do not use abrasive sponges.

- Apply the cleaning agent using circular movements.
- Rinse thoroughly with clear, warm water.
- Dry the surface with a clean, soft cloth.

The care instructions are suitable for removing stains such as limescale, soap residue, oil, tea, coffee or vinegar.


Caution: Do not use scouring milk on wood, fittings or furniture fronts, as these may be damaged.
