Egger beauty salon in Lustenau: futuristic Corian counter meets trend-setting elegance and spatial harmony
Hair, Beauty, Photo. Thats the vision of Marcel Egger, who is creating more than just a beauty salon with Egger. As an elaborate design project with three-dimensionally rounded walls, designer furniture and a backlit mushroom of light made of solid surface material, the hairdresser and photographer realized his dream of expansion as an architect and site manager in 2015.

Combining elements of harmony, futurism, coziness and elegance, an award-winning design concept is being created on 400m², with the Austrian joinery Schwab from Götzis-Koblach being commissioned to implement it.

Design

 

A futuristic counter and round wall elements made of Corian® Glacier White as well as an oversized light mushroom made of translucent HIMACS Opal with an ethereal play of colors as a central eye-catcher in the room - many elements of Egger are made of solid surface material by us for our long-standing partner Schreinerei Schwab.

Implementation

 

One particular challenge here is the complex 3D shaping of the components, which have to have a high fitting accuracy - the asymmetrical mushroom light alone is made up of over 60 individually shaped segments. Joined together seamlessly, the homogeneous surface texture creates a fascinating plasticity.
